Gameloft games has released the The Dark Knight Rises recently, which is based on the related movies released at the same time. This kind of action game created by Gameloft is inspired by the original movie, which is much like the Amazing Spider Man series, in which however the brooding atmosphere is totally different from the other version. You can glide, swing and motor through the Gotham city to get to zoom across a city. Mots of the missions of this version is based on the original movies, but there are still some kind of brand new missions which is waiting for you to explore.
Gameplay and Operation
In The Dark Knight Rises, the maker still applies the dual-stick set-up. For example, if you want to move towards one direction, you should tap on the left side of the screen to control the Batman. And if you want to hack terminals or kick open door, you can tap on the target directly. And you can switch you angles of camera whenever you want during the gaming time. All in all, the control operation in the game is very simple, but there is still some aspect which have to be improved such as the positional buttons in the game. And if there is an option which will make the players to feel natural to glide, it will be a perfect action game.
Graphics and Sounds
The most charming graphics in the game i think is the amazing landscapes and enormous city created by Gameloft. When you explore the Gotham city, you will feel amazed by the detailed and believable place for such a mobile game. However, the game looks fairly common,which is a little bit disappointed.Furthermore,Batman and his suit in particular are very detailed but the details and texture of everywhere else range from acceptable to plain ugly. As to the sounds of the game, it tried to emulate the voices of the actors in the movie. However, it looks very stupid when the character talk with each other but their lips dont move, just staring at each other.

The Dark Knight Rises has tried it best to reach what mobile game can achieve, though there is still lots of part which is waiting for Gameloft to improve. Anyway the stiff controls, boring combat, frequent bugs and aggressive in-app purchases are the charming elements which deserve your attention.
